Living here in Norfolk we are fortunate to be surrounded by a wealth of farmer’s markets, delis, health food shops and organic farm shops. We pride ourselves on the quality of our breakfasts, as we believe in sending our guests off for the day fortified by a hearty, wholesome breakfast.
We believe in food which is:
Natural (organic wherever possible)
Local (we buy mostly from local organic farm shops)
Grilled rather than fried
Our usual breakfast consists of:
Tea, coffee or a herbal or fruit tea
Porridge and/or ceral (including speciality organic museli)
Fresh fruit salad
Cooked breakfast - sausages, bacon, egg, baked beans (grilled unless otherwise requested)
Smoked Salmon and scrambled eggs
Smoked Haddock and poached egg
Cley Kipper and scrambled eggs
Homemade bread (made with flour ground at Letheringsett Watermill, Norfolk’s last working watermill) and/or toast with butter and a selection of preserves.
